Pre-operative Camp Conducted

The 3-day pre-operative medical camp took place in Malkangiri, a district in the state of Odisha. Navjeevan Community Development Society, along with two other doctors, including Dr. Babitha Kallimel, paramedical staff, and volunteers, arranged the camp. A total of 15 employees took part in the camp. The Malkangiri tribe’s three villages were chosen. Ananthapalli, Salimi, and Chitrakonda.
The first location was in Ananthapalli Village (Kallimda Block), an inland village with no roads, but people from those villages, nearby villages came to attend this camp. The registration total surpassed 200. God made it possible for us to see 196 people on the first day. Twenty-nine of them were chosen for surgery.
All of those who came were approximately 500 people. Food was distributed to the entire people.
The second day was in Salimi Village (Mathili block), where at least 20 people arrived in addition to the 284 who had registered. Thirty-four of those who arrived were chosen for surgery.
There were 600 people in total who passed. Food was distributed to them too.
The location was named Janbai Village (Chitrakonda Block) on the third day. 304 people registered their names and fed the 600 people who showed up. Twenty-one of those who arrived were chosen for surgery.
Many people in and around the villages have benefited from this camp. We decided to schedule the four-day surgery over the next month.
